Please help. My PC Tech Support changed some settings and ACT (ACT! by Sage 2006 Version 18.104.22.168) no longer open to my last used database. After an immediate reboot, it worked fine. So I explained to my PC Tech Support and they "fixed it". The next time I tried to sync ACT with Outlook via Companion Link I received an error from Companion Link "API Error: System.IO.FileNotFoundException". So now I can no longer sync ACT with Outlook.
Companion Link says it is an ACT error even though it only occurs when running Companion Link.
Has anyone experienced this error? Does anyone have a solution?

You might try by opening actdiag and delete the preferences. I have seen this work for other clients.
