We have had ACTV18 running on our Windows Server 2012 R2 machine perfectly for almost 3 years. We had to restore a backup and recreate user profiles on the server because of a ransomware attack.
ACT run perfectly from a PC on the network where it is accessing the data file on the server. But on the Windows Server 2012 R2 machine you can not run up ACT. It opens and goes thrun the new database New Database and Open/Share Database screen and comes up with almost blank screen (see screen shot) and "Not Responding". It does this even if you run ACT as Administrator.
I tried uninstalling ACT but it still showed in Control Panel under installed programs so I deleted the ACTV18Pro directory and reinstalled it. It is on the machine but doesnt show in Control Panel as an installed application.
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
