ACT2012 Not Responding

Very frustrating.  ACT2012 Pro extremely slow and I get constant not responding messages.  Have had an ACT certified technician in and I still  have the same problem!!  I keep my data on our server.  Have ACT2012 Pro on 3 workstations however only 1 real user ...... ME.  Would appreciate suggestings, help, very much.  Thanks very much.

Welcome to the ACT! Community. Some additional information is needed to better assist with the issue:
Does this only happen on your machine, or are other users experiencing the same?
If you open ACT! locally on the server, does it run slow as well?
When you say it runs slow, can you give an example of where and how long it takes to run (i.e., creating activity, creating contact, switching views, etc.)?
What are the exact error messages you are receiving? Is the program crashing?
What operating system does your computer use?
How much RAM and free drive space does your computer have?
Do you have an active firewall/antivirus running? Does it do continuous scans?
