ACT2012 Loses Email configurations for Outlook 2010

I have had to set up email numerous times.  Once set up I can send email via Outlook for a while but then will go to send an email and will get the message email has not been set up.

If you are running ACT! on a Windows Vista or Window 7 operating system, it may be that the ACT! program is being blocked from updating it's Preference files.  Try the following:

- Close ACT!

- Right click on ACT! icon > select Properties > select Compatibility tab > enable option to 'always run as administrator' (at bottom of tab).  Apply that change and close the window. 

- Open ACT! as normal (double click) > set up e-mail preferences

- Close ACT!

- Open ACT! and check preferences setup. 

 

Are the e-mail settings retained?

Thank you.  The settings were retained.  Hopefully this wil resolve the problem for good.
