Microsoft Office 2007 Professional - Outlook (12.0.6535.5005) SP2 MSO (12.0.6535.5002)
ACT 2010 - 22.214.171.124 Hot Fix 3
After installing ACT2010 my outlook now takes 1 min 50 seconds to open to the point I can use the application. This is totally unacceptable. I just purchased it yesterday. I sure hope I am not expected to accept this extremely poor performance hit.
Where do we start troubleshooting this?

Try going to the Outlook trust center under tools in outlook and disable the aCTOutlook plugin. They try again. IF it's still slow, I don't think it's ACT. I've not seen ACT do this to outlook

You would need to contact Sage, but I do not believe that is their policy. They do sell software assurance which gives you updates as long as you keep it active.

No but you do have 30 days to return your version for a full refund then you can buy ACT! 2011.

Ok, I turned off the Act Addin and still have the issue. Now before you say it proves Act is not the problem know that more Act things are happening with Outlook even with this diasbled. I have a Process Monitor file showing a lot of act things still running. Examples, just to name a few:
C:\Users\tinsleyjt\AppData\Roaming\ACT\ACT for Windows 12
So now what? Can this process monitor file be analyzed by support to determine the slowness?
