ACT2010 - Contacts missing from ACT! Address Book in Outlook

Hello...

This is a rather perplexing issue - I've set up my ACT! (2010) Address book in Outlook (2007) - many of the contacts are listed in the address book, however, I''m missing a number of them as well.  These contacts are in the ACT! database (ACT! program)...how can I ensure that my ACT contacts show up in under the Outlook Address book???

I also have many of the ACT!  contacts already in the Outlook Contact folder...

When sending an email - I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" each time I try to send an email from Outlook...could these be related?

Thanks,

In order for ACT! contacts to appear in the address book, the contact will need a valid email address in the Email field.
