I have just got my Computer back from servicing and my ACT 220.127.116.117
Will not work. When I try to open it, it says the database has been upgraded to work with a later
edition and to check for updates. After checking for updates it says there is an update and click to download.
When I do this it says I must me a windows administrator to access it.
I am logged on as an administrator so what do I need to do to be able to open my database?
Any help would be appreciated. I am running windows 7 home premium.

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. The message you are getting is due to User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7. To get around this, close ACT!, then reopen it by right-clicking on the program icon and selecting "Run As Administrator". Then run the update. The other option is disable or lower the settings for UAC, per the instructions in the following Knowledgebase article:
