I THINK I've set up my options correctly in tools/preferences. However, when I hover over an email address in an ACT record it shows as a link, but if I click on it I get the dreaded "Object not set to an instance of an object" message. Then it all freezes for 20/30 seconds. When it comes back to life the email address is not a link, but is editable. If I click elsewhere then return, it is a link again - but still it doesn't work.
Really need my email integration to work
Is there a fix please??

Hi Mike,
The follwoing kb article relates to this error:

It is usually resolved with the first few steps (UAC/run as admin conflict) but sometimes requires all steps to be followed.
