I just downloaded and installed ACT! v16 and now my Oulook 2010 locks up all the time. I had this same issue when I loaded the last ACT! and had to run a bunch of updates but not sure what to do now??

Does Outlook eventually start responding, or is it completely locked up and refuses to do anything?
I ask because Act! v16 updates the plugins that it uses to communicate between the programs. Usually if I come across a situation where they aren't working, I simply have to go back through the email setup in Act! and the plugin will function properly. Try following this KB Article. When it asks you what database to use, click remove, then Add, and re-add your database.
