ACT seizing up

ACT seizing up

Ever since I switched to ACT 2008, my ACT siezes up numerous times daily, forcing me to end task.
Is anyone else having thsi issue?

Mine seizes up also.  When scrolling through my contacts, or searching, it gets stuck.  Sometimes it comes out of it
and I am able to continue, but other times I give up and close and re-open the program.  It's a pain.  That's why I'm in
here, trying to find a fix or hint or something to help.

If that doesn't help:
What exact version of ACT! from Help | About?
Is it a network database or local on your system?
When you go to the Task Manager, does Actsage.exe or anything else show as taking all the processes?
Is there any specific function you do that you notice will make this happen?
