ACT! not syncing with Outlook Calendar

Hello,

 

I can sync with Contacts but whatever advice I follow, I cannot sync with Calendar. I have tried reducing the number of days, deleting recurring appointments. Nothing works.

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community!

 

Can you provide some additional information:

- What version of Office are you running?

- What is the build of ACT! (from Help > About ACT!)?

- What is the operating system of your computer?

 

You didn't list what actions you have already taken, have you done the following:

- Have you tried running Scanpst to repair your Outlook PST file?

- Have you tried creating a new Outlook profile to test with?

- Have you run Tools > Database Maintenance > Check and Repair on your ACT! database?

- Have you tested synchronizing with a different database (ex: create a new database through File > New Database)?

 

Here is an article which includes instructions for running Scanpst and creating a new Outlook profile (near bottom of article): KB Article 13826

Before I start, I noticed my .pst file is in fact an .ost file. Is that the problem?

OST is cached (Offline) version of Exchange data
PST is a Personal local data store

Scanpst will also handle OST file

I am having the same problem Can not sync my 2007 outlook calendar with ACT Pro 2011. I really don't feel like buying 130 piece of software to do what ACT is supposed to do.  Where do I start

Are you getting an error message?

What is your computer operating system?

Thanks for the help! I read the artical and found that outlook has to be installed first before installing ACT

Act 2012 Pro stopped sync with Outlook 07 calendar after working flawlessly.  Reboot does not help.
