ACT not detecting Outlook

I'm preparing a blast email for an upcoming trade show, and in trying to prep myself on how to do it in ACT!, I'm running into a problem...

My ACT 9.0 isn't finding Outlook 2007, only Outlook express, and the Outlook Express doesn't have html capabilities, so I can't send out the email the way I was planning on - in fact, it appears that I'm going to have difficulty doing any emailing if I can't get setup with Outlook instead of Outlook Express -

Any suggestions?

Office 2007 is only supported with ACT! 10.0

 

But either with ACT! 9 or 10, for best email merges, you should really use MergeMaster or SwiftPage

I thought that may have been the case, however one of the other people in my office has the same setup, and her ACT sees her Outlook. 

Any thoughts?

Are you sure same version build of ACT! and Outlook?

 

It's possible there was a previous version of Outlook on the other machine that ACT! can see, but most functions are unlikely to work.
