Just to let people know, regsvr32 is in \windows\system32, and this worked on windows 7 with outlook 10 and ACT! Pro 17.
I think it happens when you try to use outlook integration with ACT then decide to undo that, it leaves some bad registry entries.

This solved my problem. Sent in my laptop to prevent Windows 10 from installing. Screwed up something. Your simple solution worked as advertised.
Thanks so much.

Where does one find the Redemption.dll file to drop over the regsvr32.exe file

Hi Stephanie,
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows
and find Redemption.dll file.
Left click and hold and drag over the regsvr32.exe file and release.
You should then see the following message...
---------------------------
RegSvr32
---------------------------
DllRegisterServer in C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Redemption.dll succeeded.
---------------------------
OK

When I try these instructions:
http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23311/kw/741BEEFD-AECO-4AFF84AF4561D15F5526
Looks like the same instructions you give above....nothing happens. No error message, but No confirmation either.
ACT - Write Email link still not working.

Isn't the regsvr32 inside the Act for Windows folder?
What do you mean?
