ACT for windows 7

What versioin of ACT must I purchase that will work with WINDOWS 7?  Will the 2010 version work?

Yes but it won't work with office 2010, for that you would need ACT! 2011 or later.

Thank you very much for your prompt response.

 

If ACT 2010 will not work with Office 2010, thie means I would not be able to mail merge, etc, from an Office 2010 document, correct?

That's true unless you get the third party utility that does make a connection.

I can order this version now and OFFICE 2010 will work with it, right?

Yes but I would suggest that you go to ACT! 2012

I don't see any reason not to go right to Act! 2012.  Works great on Windows 7 with Office 2010.

Thank you for your responses.  We have to order the lest expensive version that will run on windows 7 and I can buy ACT 2010 for $49 versus more than $100 more for the 2012 version.

 

Does this make sense to you?

If you intend to use Office 2010 with Act, I'd suggest you spend the extra $50 now, rather than later.
