I have ACT 2007, ACT for palm 2.0 and Hotsync 7.0.2
I installed ACT then Palm Desktop and did a sync.
Then I installed the ACT for Palm, did the sync to put the program on the Palm and it showed up.
Then, when the software asked, after configuring the database, I synced the palm again.
I get no error messages. It shows that everything completed successfully. The ACT for palm changes from "Desktop overwrites hanheld" to "syncronize".
There is NO data on the palm and when I choose the ACT icon it tells me "You must syncronize an ACT! database..."

Which version of Palm desktop are you using?
You need to be running HotSync® Manager 3.5 through 6.0.1
and Palm Desktop 4.1 through 4.1.4E.
