ACT! database.

I am trying to find a way to link my online sql database to my local ACT! database. Anyone have a solution to this? I need for clients to be able to input information and sync it with the local ACT!. Also need to be able to pull the info from act and display it on the web.

Thanks for any help on this.

There are two requirements here:

  1. If you have clients needing to input data from the website automatically then you could use Smart Forms refer: http://www.xactsoftware.co.nz/smart-forms
  2. If you are wanting to pull data from Act! to display on the web you could use OLEDB and iFrame as we do on one of our customers sites here http://www.businesshawkesbay.co.nz/business_directory/index.htm . This is a directory lookup for business contact information based on categories as selected. It pulls information by query on the Act! database directly If on the other hand you need a continuous connection to Act! framework then you would use our XData API for ACT! refer: http://xdata.xactsoftware.co.nz/
