I'm trying to export my contacts so that I can import them into Outlook 2010. Everytime I go to export using the wizard, it does not show there are errors, but I cannot locate the file anywhere on my computer. It never asked me to save the file as is...nor set a location where to save it. Can someone help me? I really need to export this database, we have almost 7000 contacts.

One of the 1st couple of screens of the Export Wizard in ACT! (File/Export) has an option called "Filename and Location" which allows you to specify the filename and the location where you want it to be.

Be sure to select the "Text Delimited" option in the "What type of file do you want to export to?" box, and the select the "Browse" button to specify the file name and location that you want.

Ahhhh I see, got it. Now it works!!! Thank you sooooo much!!! I've been trying to figure this out for a month now (not every second) but I keep attempting to export it and nothing happens.
