Re: ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) and 64Bit

Hello peterek,

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. In regards to your question, unfortunately ACT! 2008 is not supported on Windows Server 2008 nor on 64-bit systems. Support for those environments was not added until ACT! 2009. For more information on ACT! and 64-bit compatibility, please see Knowledgebase Article 23023.

1. Is it possible to migrate data from 2008 to 2009 ?

Yes. You can convert a 2008 database to a newer version by opening the database in the new version...it will automatically be converted.

2. What are differences between 2008 and 2009 ?

See Knowledgebase Article 26059 for a list of new and enhanced features by version.

3. Where I can buy 2009 version ?

Sage does not sell ACT! 2009 any longer. The current version we sell is ACT! 2010, with ACT! 2011 slated to be released at the end of summer. You can get purchase information for ACT! 2010 on our website at www.act.com.
