I am attempting to restore a database created on another computer. I have reinstalled ACT and it is registered. However, when I attempt to restore from a saved backup, I am being prompted for a username and password. I never set a username and password in ACT. I checked old backups and they, too, need a username and password. I have tried my resigtered name and the serial number and that does not work. I don’t know what else to try since I did not set the username and password. Is there any way to determine username and password on a zipped database backup file? If not, what are the files and location that I need to copy over from the other computer.
