ACT and international phone number

I have noticed that after our first import of contacts from Outlook, phone numbers have been formatted according to some pre-determined format.

We have international clients, therefore we'd like to keep a free format.

My questions:

1. Where do I see the actual number stored in the database? I guess I see the 'formatted' value in the software.

2. How do I change all formats to free form?

Thanks in advance!

Re: ACT and international phone number

The phone number is stored in the database in the TAPI canonacal form and is formatted for the screen by the program based on a file of standard inernational phone number formats including the most appropriate country code.
