Re: ACT and Outlook integration issues

For anyone who searches and finds this becuase they are having the same issue, the kb article is: http://kb.sagesoftwareonline.com/app/answers/list/kw/25996/search/1 and the resolution for ACT! 2010 was to apply HF 5.

Re: ACT and Outlook integration issues

We are running ACT Pro2011 v13.0.401, with Outlook 2007.  Everything worked fine when we were running Windows 7, but have been forced to upgrade to Windows 10.  Most of the transition went well, ACT still works for the most part, but when trying to send an email by clicking on the address in ACT, the Outlook send window pops up with the address populated, but when you click send, the following message appears:

Assertion Failed: Abort:Quit, Retry=Debug, Ignore=Continue

GetHeaderProps::We don't expect an @ in an exchange address.

at MessageReader.GetHeaderProps(CComPtr<IMessage>*pMessage, HeaderStruct header, Boolean bGetMissingSender, Boolean* pSender Set)

at MessageReader.SaveMsgToFile(IntPtr pItem,String FileName, HeaderStruct header)

at Connect.AddItemTo Queue(MailItem mailItem, OutlookHistoryType historyType, IContact[] attachContacts, Boolean bHistoryPrivate,

HistoryFormatOptions nFormatOption, IDatabaseInfo dbItem, Boolean bRecordToSender, Boolean bIsQuickAttach, Boolean createMissingContacts)

at Connect.Outlook_ItemSend(Object Item, Boolean& Cancel)

at ApplicationEvents_10_SinkHelper.ItemSend(Object , Boolean& )

at RuntimeMethodHandle._InvokeMethodFast(Object traget, Object[] arguments, SignatureStruct& sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes, RuntimeTypeHandle typeOwner)

at RuntimeMethodHandle.InvokeMethodFast(Object traget, Object[] arguments, Signature sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes,

RuntimeTypeHandle typeOwner)
at RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder,Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture, Boolean

skipVisibilityChecks)

at RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder,Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture)

Followed the old thread on this issue, but could not pull up any of the linked KB articles.  I am wondering if anyone can explain a fix to this?

Thanks,

Kevin
