ACT and MS Outlook

ACT and MS Outlook

I have ACT 2012 and Outlook 2010.  When someone sends me an invite in outlook and I accept and then accept the meeting scheduled in ACT it freezes my OUtlook every time.

 

I have to stop OUtlook in task manager and to get outlook workign again every time.  Seems like a simple fix but no idea what it is.

Hello ckramer,
Try this:
- Close Outlook
- Go to Tools > Preferences > Email & Outlook Sync tab
- Click Email System Setup
- In the wizard, click Next until you get to Screen 7 (Email Activity-Invitation)
- In the second dropdown, select "None" (will turn off creation of ACT! activity - you can bring it over on next calendar sync with Outlook).
- Click Next, click Finish
- Reopen Outlook and test

So is the create activity not compatible with ACT?  Will I hav to always wait for it to sync to outlook?
