ACT! & Outlook not working!

Hi guys,

 

I'm using ACT! Pro 2012 v. 14.1.108.0, Hot Fix 6 (Note: That's what it says in "about", however I did note that when I installed Hot Fix 6, when complete it said something like "Hot Fix 6 failed to apply," so have I got Hot Fix 6 or not?).

 

Outlook 2010 and Windows 7.

 

I did have Outlook working with ACT! as the email for a time and it was OK, I could attach the emails to contacts and they were recorded in the history etc. Then things started going very slow and I removed Outlook from ACT! as the email system and ran the two programs for 3 weeks or so, this seemed to spped up both ACT! & Outlook.

 

Decided to try Outlook as the email system again, but it doesn't work. When I look in a bit more detail I can add the ACT! Address book to Outlook, but none of the ACT! Add-Ins install, they are nowhere to be seen! They're not even in the Registry. Tried all of the suggestions in the knowledgebase but nothing works.

 

HELP! Anyone got any ideas, short of re-installing?
