ACT V12

I have used ACT 2010 V12 successfully for a year.  This week I needed to format my C:\ drive and re-install all software.  I am now able only to open the demo database.  If I try to open my own database (.pad file) I get an error panel telling me that my database cannot be accessed and "In order to access this database check you network connection and verify that your database server is available."  My database is not on a network server! It normally resides on my PC but on a different partition.  The letter of that particular partition has not changed.

I cannot even restore the database from my backup .zip file!

The only thing I can imagine may be responsible is that I have installed Windows 7 64 bit whilst I earlier ran ACT in Windows 7 32 bit.

Re: ACT V12

Try deleting the pad file and open the database using the ADF file. The pad file is only a pointer.
