I am running V19 Pro. I am trying to setup scheduler email alerts. I find it does not work when using SSL port 465. However it does work without SSL port 25. I found a document in the knowledge base stating this is by design. Well if SSL is not supported then why is it an option on the alerts setup screen? Users can you confirm this behaivor? Developers can you explain why SSL is even included on the setup screen. Thanks for your support.

Thanks for your reply. Port 25 does not support SSL. Although it worked in your testing, the email was not encrypted. In fact if you try and select SSL for port 25 in Outlook, it will not allow you to do so. Port 465 is what is used for SMTP SSL encrypted connections. Can you please forward this one to the development team?
