The ACT! Scheduler generates an error when you select "View Task Log". The error message is "Failed to open scheduler log. Error occurred while loading scheduler log file. There is an unclosed literal string. Line 343, position 367." The scheduler is running. It creates the backup ZIP file at the specified time. However, I cannot view the log file. I tried to locate the log file on the disk, but was unsuccessful. Any help would be appreciated.
The log file is in c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\act\act for windows and is called scheduler_log.xml. Try renaming it to scheduler_log.xml.old. This will purge your log. Otherwise you may be able to find the text on line 343 and correct it in notepad.
