ACT! Scheduler Drops/Loses Sync Task

I've seen this before and have no explination or resolutin for it. You setup a task in the scheduler and after a few days or possibly even just a reboot, the task is gone. 

 

Does anyone know what causes this or a way to prevent it? I've had it happen on more than just a few computers over the years. It's quite concerning considering the Scheduler is responsible for automated backups.

It's been a few months now and no replies to this thread? I can't be the only one seeing this happen. Any tips out there or can I provide more information that might help lead us to a resolution?

 

This may also be tied to a similar issue where preferences are lost. I don't know how many times I've setup a new install, set preferences and the next day the preferences are reset to default.

We always backup the xml file.

 

So, that way, when it does go bad, easy to fix instead of having to setup a new one.

 

We've never been able to actually figure out why it breaks though.

Thanks for the reply. Saving a backup of the xml is a great idea. Though knowing where the problem lies would be nice.

Let's hope future releases has this under control!
