ACT Sage Pro 2011 database won't open

I have been using the product for several years and upgraded to 2011 last year.  I have Windows 7. All of a sudden my database will not open.  I get a long paragraph error that begins "Resolution of the dependency failed type = Act.UI.ActApplication name = 'Exception Message is current build operation (build key BuildKey act application failed."  There is a ton of other info in the paragraph but not sure what it all means.  I tried the uninstall and reinstalled and sill my database will not open.  What should I do?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks! Ended up calling service who was able to lead me to the following article.  Apprently, my error had something to do with making changes in the preferences files.  Not sure if anyone else had a problem with losing their Preferences. All is working fine now. Thanks anyway.  BE
