We have a system that is running ACT! Premium for Workgroups 2006 Version 22.214.171.124, on a Dell PowerEdge SC1420 Xeon Dual 2.8, with 3 GB of Ram, running Server 2003 SP2. Hard drives are - ST316002 3AS SCSI Disk Device (SATA).
We have about 73000 contacts, and 3 companies.
Reporting has been getting slower over time, and is now starting to affect more users.
I have run the Maintenance Check and Repair, but that did not seem to change the speed much at all.
Running a report from the server can take about 2-4 seconds, while running on an XP SP3 workstation (2.8 GHz, with 1 GB ram) takes almost 20 seconds to come up in the Preview.
