Hello Team & Community,
Really need som help getting ACT Email sync to work.
ACT Pro (Sage ACT! Pro 2011 Version 18.104.22.168, Hot Fix 6) Is installed on terminal server along with Outlook 2010 (Full office suite x86 version). The Database is hosted on domain controller where ACT is also running. (Both Terminal Server and Domain Controller running Server 2008 x64)
Since day one of the install the Email sync has never worked properly and after months of testing and researching i am here to report what is happening and hopeflly get some solutions.
The Act Email Sync will only work for ONE singe Synchronisation attempt in one of the following two scenarios:
1. On initial login the Sync runs to clear any emails that haven’t been synced during the previous logon session.
2. ACT will run a successful sync ONCE "IF" and only if the sync process has not already run during that terminal session.
So essentially the sync runs only once and will not run again until next complete log off and log back on.
The sync service is running the whole time but it seems jams or fails to execute after the initial sync.
I should mention that in this installation we are only using the email sync, not calendar or contact.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Finally Got this sorted.
The server was set up with the user profiles on a network drive. It seems that ACT doesn't support this.
So I created a "Qpath" string in the registry and created a folder locally for each user for history queue and pointed the registry string at this folder for each user.
Disappointed in ACT not supporting Roaming profiles
