Have been struggling with this problem on behalf of a frustrated customer for some time.
ACT Version: ACT! Pro 2013 (V22.214.171.124)
Windows: 8.1 Pro (64-bit)
Office: 2013 Home and Business (32-bit) with Exchange 2013.
Nine times out of 10 users with above configuration when Selecting 'Write>Email Message (from Template)' then select template ACT will then crash and a dialog saying close program will come up. Upon inspection of the Application log in the Event log Error 1000 is logged as follows: -
