ACT! Pro 2013, Windows 8.1 and Outlook 2013 using Email from Template

Hi All,

Have been struggling with this problem on behalf of a frustrated customer for some time.

Windows: 8.1 Pro (64-bit)

Office: 2013 Home and Business (32-bit) with Exchange 2013.

Nine times out of 10 users with above configuration when Selecting 'Write>Email Message (from Template)' then select template ACT will then crash and a dialog saying close program will come up. Upon inspection of the Application log in the Event log Error 1000 is logged as follows: -

richardjcs,

Thank you for submitting your post. Unfortunately, Act Pro 2013 is not compatible with Microsoft Office 2013. Below is a link for a Knowledgebase Article for more information:

  1. 33125 Act! Compatibility with Microsoft® Office 2013 - http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/33125
Hope this helps,
