ACT! Pro 2012 and Outlook 2003 sync question

[ Edited ]

Sage ACT! Pro 2012 Version 14.1.108.0, Hot Fix 5

with

Microsoft Outlook 2003  SP3

Had to do a "detect and repair" in Outlook over the weekend. And now When I go to sync ACT calendar with Outlook I get  "Unable to connect to Outlook" error.   Used to work like a charm.  Searched the knowledgebase and this board but don't seem to find a answer yet.  Any help?

Thanks ahead of time to you gurus!

Jack

EDIT:   I changed the location of the outlook.pst file.  My guess is this is the culprit?  IF so, how do I tell ACT! where to "look" for the pst file?

Ensure the ACT! Adrress Book has been added to Outlook.  Instructions: KB Article 19204

Re: ACT! Pro 2012 and Outlook 2003 sync question

Thanks for the quick reply Greg.  I don't want to sync the Address book with Outlook, only the calendar.  Still the same advice, adding the address book to outlook?  Will that affect how the calendars sync?

Re: ACT! Pro 2012 and Outlook 2003 sync question

Adding the Address book doesn't initiate a sync with the contacts, it only allows the ACT! database to be viewed through the Outlook Address Book option. It is also used in recording emails sent through Outlook to ACT! history.
