ACT! Pro 2011 Backup (Including Attachments)

Greetings all!

I have a ACT! Pro 2011 with Connect.  Looking for a good way to ensure everything gets backed up INCLUDING attachments.  What's the best method to automate a backup, maybe even stored on the cloud.

Curious what everyone is doing.  The BIG piece is ensuring attachments get backed up.

Thanks!

Hello tonydotigr,
You can use the ACT! Scheduler to make automatic backups. Instructions are in this Knowledgebase article:
http://kb.Sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/Sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1921...

If you want backups on the cloud, you will probably need a third-party backup service that backups up your system. These type of services allow you to choose which files to back up, so you would choose to .include. zip file that the ACT! backup makes, but do not choose the actual ACT! database files.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
