I have upgraded the OS to Windows 10. ACT was uninstalled on the old computer
and after installing the ACT software received fan error message "unable to register "
either over the internet or by email.
Unable to get ACT customer service/support to answer phone
Thanks for a work around.

Make sure you use the latest version: https://www.act.com/download/download-act!-pro-v18
in addition make sure you have loaded update 7: https://help.act.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024264214-Licensing-Software-Update-v18-x

You may need to do 2 things,
1 / Update your version of ACT 18 with the latest patches.
2 / Obtain a new replacement serial number for the updated ACT 18 version.
ACT changed its registration process and now needs a new serial number once the patches have been installed.
If you cant get through to ACT use the Contact Us link at the top and include your details and the old serial number.
