Our ACT! 2012 is on a Windows 7 Enterprise platform and it is on a shared server (multiple users).
I have inherited an ACT database that has entries over 18 years old. I am not a trained user of ACT at all. I work for a small non-profit that has no one really trained in this CRM. My most pressing question is can I save the old ACT database as a "legacy" database and start anew? We have purchased a Dunn and Bradstreet list of companies and contacts that is only 3 years old and I'd like to upload that to ACT and use that as the "new" database. Is that possible? Can you point to me the directions for doing this?
