ACT! Link for Pocket PC 2009 - Installation Error

[ Edited ]

Well, I'm usually pretty good at figuring these things out, but I'm absolutely stumped on this one.  While installing Link for Pocket PC 2009 I get to the point where it asks me which database and the Username and Password.  After I enter the information...correctly...I see a LOADING window popup.  After a moment or two, I get the following error:

PRC_UTIL_LIST_DATASTORE: ERROR OCCURRED LOADING FILES FOR DATASTORE \ Attachments

I have no clue what this is about.  What I believe is that the PRC references the program to be placed on the iPAQ.

Details:

Vista Ultimate, 32-bit

Office 2007 Enterprise

Act! 2009

Windows Mobile Device Center v6.1

iPAQ with Windows Mobile v5.1

Looking forward to your comments.  Thanks.

Re: ACT! Link for Pocket PC 2009 - Installation Error

Hi MrWright

I've got the same Error message, but at a different place.

I've got the message while I wantet to import a created Remote-DB. Even after a new installation from ACT and SQL it didn't work.

The solution was, that I wrongly set the option to release the database.

But the funny thing is, that this shouldn't be a matter at all.

So I know that I can't give you a soloution, but it gives you may an idea, that you have to check simple things.

Re: ACT! Link for Pocket PC 2009 - Installation Error

got a simular error

 PRC_UTIL_LIST_DATASTORE: DATASTORE PATH NOT VALID

was able to resolve this by turnign off firewall and adding exceptions per KB article 25125
