Please can someone tell me / is it possible to automatically links sage & act contacts using ACT Link, as doing manual updates is tedious, and I would rather set it to happen automatically

I assume you are asking whether data is automatically updated between contacts in ACT! and Sage Accounts in contacts that are already linked (?)
As I understand it, all the information in the Sage Accounting Program tab is updated automatically each time you enter that ACT! contact record.
However, linked fields only get updated when you manually run "Update Linked Contacts" from the Sage Accounting Program menu item on the top of the page. Even then, there are some oddities. For example, if you create a link between a Sage field and an ACT! field which is not a primary field, the Update Linked Contacts routine will have no effect unless one of the ACT! primary fields has been changed.
Strange, but true.
