ACT High Memory Usage

I just installed ACT 2009 STD.  Along with ACT I installed DoubleLook to sync between ACT and Outlook.  My Outlook database has a lot of information that goes back several years.  I found that the local ACT database will work fine until it sync's with my calender.  As soon as it Sync's the calender Alarms try coming up from several years back and ACT takes up 50% of my CPU and appears to stop responding.  I can not clear the Alarms because the system is not responding.  What can I do to resolve this issue?

Re: ACT High Memory Usage

Had you considered Companionlink instead, less processor intensive. Apparently Doublelook requires two instances of each of ACT! and Outlook to be open.

If you own DoubleLook and want to swap the license for CompanionLink, you can place a request on this webpage

In the Notes section of the form, just mention that you want to swap your licenses.  Also mention where you purchased DoubleLook from (direct from the CompanionLink website, from the Sage store, etc.).
