I have about four different computers that integrate perfectly between ACT 9.0 and Outlook 2003. But two others that when you click on an email address in ACT it does open Outlook 2003 and goes to the create email screen but the email address from ACT does not appear in Outlook and ACT and Outlook freeze up. The error message in ACT after I use Task Manager to close Outlook says it is a "remote procedure call" error. I have followed all the instructions on the "General Troubleshooting Guide For Issues With ACT! and Microsoft Outlook" and everything checks out. I have also compared the settings for the two computers that do not integrate correctly with the four that do and the only difference I can see is two are running the anti-virus software AVG. Has anyone had this happen before? Is it possible an anti-virus software can cause issues with an ACT-Outlook integration?
Thank in advance for any tips you might have!!!
