I had custamized a "Sales" Report in ACT 6.0 that incorporated fields from the Contact Info. In 8.0, the only fields it will allow me to add are ones from the "Opportunity" window. How FRUSTRATING! You used to be able to add any field from any part of your database - WHAT HAPPEND and WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW? Please help!
The opportunity reporting in the ACT! 6 reports was a kludge. It somehow allowed access to the contact table fields without being able to use those fields for anything but display. The ACT! 2005 and later report generator is a much stronger report engine than the ACT! 3-6 report engine but you are limited to only the company and contact fields in opportunity table based reports.
