ACT 2013 vs Outlook 2013 sync incompatibility

I have ACT Pro 2013 15.1.108.HotFix 2 and Office 2013 installed on a Windows 8 machine. There is no sync compatibility between ACT and Outlook - when (or how) can we get a patch to achieve compatibility between ACT 2013 and Outlook 2013?

What problem are you having?

While I've never found the Outlook sync to be all that reliable, it's certainly able to sync with my Office 2013 on Windows 8

BTW: You must have Office installed as x32

Hello Doughboy2013,
Welcome to the ACT! Community. The Outlook 2013 sync and integration should work with version 15.1, under the following conditions:
- You must have installed the full version of 15.1 (ACT 2013 with Service Pack 1 already applied), not upgraded the 15.0 version by applying the Service Pack 1 update
- You must have the 32-bit version of Office 2013 installed (not 64-bit)
- You must have the full version of Office 2013 installed, not the Click-to-Run or streaming version. This must be installed prior to installing ACT! 2013 version 15.1

ACT was already on machine prior to purchase of Office 2013 and ACT was upgraded using ACT Hotfix 2 download per ACT instructions --- how do I get sync capability between ACT and Outlook?

Re: ACT 2013 vs Outlook 2013 sync incompatibility

ACT Pro 2013 was installed after 02/01/2013, so it should be full version with SP1 on install ----------- Office 2013 (Outlook) was installed after 04/01/2013 as x32 --- so according to the comments there should be sync capabilities BUT it does not exist between ACT and Outlook ----

ACT! 2013 SP1 (v 15.1) should be installed after Office 2013 is installed to ensure proper integration. Also, please confirm you have the full install of Office 2013, not click-to-run or streaming.

Re: ACT 2013 vs Outlook 2013 sync incompatibility

I purchased and downloaded Office 2013 from Mircosoft -- I do not know what what "click to run" or "stream" means in regards to my issue --- this is the full package and on a desktop machine.

I have Office Professional 2013 - the full package. I have also tried uninstalling/re-installing ACT and still do not have sync capability.

What is the error message you are getting when you try to sync? You can also right-click on the Sage ACT! Integration icon in your system tray, select Synchronize With Outlook > View History and look under both the contact and activities tab. If there is number under errors other zero, click it to see the error details.
