By clicking on "Updates", I got a message to upgrade and attempted to do so, but Windows told me I had to be an administrator. So I then went to the ACT program directory and attempted to run the .exe file as administrator. It would not run, nor give any error message. So I tried to go back to starting ACT in the normal way and I get this big long error message every time. The dialog box does not allow me to copy the message so I will attempt to retype it here.
Resolution of the dependency failed, type = !Act.UI.ActApplication", name = "". Exception message is: The current build operation (build key Build Key[Act.UI.ActApplication, null]) failed: The type Act.UI.ConnectedServices.FileCatalogProvider cannot be assigned to variables of type Act.Server.Contracts.ConnectedServices.ICatalogProvider. Parameter name: from (Strategy type BuildPlanStrategy, index 3)
My ACT is completely disabled. Please help.
