ACT 2013 Pro "error message" upon boot

Running ACT Pro 2013 on a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1.

This is an old problem.

When I boot my desktop the first thing each day and the desktop is displayed, I'm now getting the error message "Sage Act! has stopped working."

However, ACT 2013 had not been opened yet.    Here are the problem details:

This is an intermittent problem.  Saw it with ACT 2012 Pro and ACT 2013Beta the last couple of weeks.

Re: ACT 2013 Pro "error message" upon boot

Does Sage ACT! open correctly when you attempt to open it after the reboot is complete?

Check your Startup folder for Sage ACT! (Windows Start > All Programs > Startup). If it is listed, it is attempting to launch during boot up. You can drag it out of this folder to the desktop.

Re: ACT 2013 Pro "error message" upon boot

It opens fine after I close the error message box which says to close the application.

There is a Sage ACT Integration shortcut in the startup folder.

Re: ACT 2013 Pro "error message" upon boot

Was there ever a resolution to this b/c I am having the same error on startup b/c my user wants to have ACT in the Startup menu?
