ACT 2013 Premium and WIndows 8 Pro 64 Bit

Dear All,

I have some problem with ACT! 2013 Premium and WIndows 8 64 Bit. For example a lookup about Edit Date doesn't find any match while there are more than 30 contacts ( the same lookup from another PC with WIndows 7 get back 34 contacts).

Any suggestion?

Hi Wonderalex,

Give this a try... make a new contact on your computer with a unique name. Check to see if you can see it on the other computer instantly. If you can, then it’s probably slight database corruption. I would go to Tools > Database Maintenance > Check and Repair and follow the prompts.

If you do not see that contact, then you are probably either in the wrong database, or the databases have not Synchronized recently.

Good day. Thank's for your reply. I've tryed your suggestion but result is still the same. Furthermore, please consider that

it happens only under Win8 and not under WIn 7. I've also tryed with your demo database ( the one on Installation CD) and i got the same problem. It seems an issue between ACT! 2013 and WIn 8, not related to Database.
