I have been using ACT!2013 since the release with no problems.
Yesterday I got this error when going to the contact View.
I have tried to clear the preference file and back up with no luck. Any help would be great!!

Things to try and resolve/isolate the issue:
- Open the Demo database, does the same thing happen?
- Use 'Run as administrator' option (close Sage ACT!, right click on icon, select 'Run as administrator') > test
- Manually rebuild preferences (if you used ActDiag the first time). See instructions in: KB Article 14770 > test

Here's what I did to fix this.
1. Deleted preferences
2. Tried the demo database
3. Run as Admin
NONE of this worked to correct the error.
Over the weekend, I had some time. I uninstalled ACT! and the .Net framework. Then I reinstalled ACT!
This solved the problem. Seems to have been a problem with the .Net Framework install.
All is fine now.
