One of the main reasons I bought ACT! was for the smart tasks.
I have set one to run when a criteria is met. In this instance when stage = Quoted... all my workflows have a quoted stage.
The smart task should then schedule a call for the customer 1 day later.
It's not doing this though.

I have had the same issue. Tech support was able to recreate the problem. My understanding is that they are looking into why it doesn't work. I had a response from David Lunceford in a previous post but have never heard back from him.

i was dabbling with smart tasks in 2013 today as well.
one thing to watch for is how you initialy create the smart task. when i created one based on opportunity then it can only run based on the opportunity (kind of obvious) but I had initially expected it to be able to create an opportunity based on another condition happening or being initiated by a user whilst in the main contact detail view (where that kind of smart task is not able to be run)
