I have a network server that is hosting 2 Multi-User ACT Pro 2012 databases. They each have different users. When I follow the directions to merge one in to the other, not all of the Contacts are transferred, and none of the Activities and Notes are transferred. I have tried it by following this document in the Sage ACT Knowledgebase:
How to Import a Multi-User Database and Retain the Record Manager in ACT! Answer ID 22050
However, I am not creating a new blank/empty database, just merging one database to another. I am exporting the users to the second database first as contacts, creating the users from those contacts, and even logging in as each user in each database to do the transfer of the contacts/etc., but only some of the contacts come over and none of the Activities or Notes.
We are on version: Sage ACT! Pro 2012 Version 22.214.171.124, Hot Fix 3
Does anyone have some suggestions? Are there non-Sage tools / add-ons that do this better? Is this just a bug?
