I can not seem to find a working method to change the record manager for well over 200 groups from "former employee" to "new employee".
I can lookup these records, and get different results trying to use "edit -> Replace field". If logged in as non-admin, the "record manager" field is not listed. If logged in as the database administrator, I can choose to replace "record manager" but CAN NOT supply a value - it locks the "value" field and greys it out - no drop down, no ability to type.
Surely users are not expected to manually update hundreds of records one by one???
I expected this to be a simple task - change ownership of database objects from old user to new - but it's 3 hours later and my new user still can not go to work!
