ACT!2011Pro - Opportunity Report Detail gets repeated= 2 pages should be only one . Pulls from Opp and Contact module.
I put a Page After( in force page break) for my Main report detail section and I gert a 2nd page that looks exactly like the first.
With out that the detail section + subreport data repeats on same page.
Why is my detail section/subreport duplicating. My opp lookup filed est close date results in only one record.
Roy? Anybody? Thanks -FSB

Which specific report are you referring to? Have you modified the report template?

Opportunities by Contact.
I think I see cause but not sure of cure.
I just made another post re OPPortunity Reports Producing incorrect results, which is more than just the ACT Reports.
Opp reports are incorrect when more than one contact is added to a opportunity, especially when the additional contacts have different company names.
Multiple contacts for Opportunities means incorrect/duplication of data in Opp Reports.
Note: Prior to running Reports
I Performed Opportunity Lookup
I used Opp field: "Est Close Date" and set it to some date in future that no other opp is using so my record count will = 1 of 1.
Then I run Opp Reports using same custom date range.
Any ideas until Sage can make this process more workable?
I may have additional Step-Work-around? for some Opportunity by Contact Reports
Needs to be a report allowing filtering for Selecting of Current Contact Reord Only
After I perform Opportunity Lookup on desired Single Opportunity using unique future "Est Close Date" field,
I have to go to the desired Customer Contact Record
and RUN The Desired Opp Report from the Desired Customer Record(True Initial Customer Record for that Opp).
So when can Sage make improvement please?
Thanks - FSB

If you have an opportunity linked to two or more contacts and then run a contact based report the opportunity will show in the opportunity subreport for both contacts. This is working as designed because you are basing the report on the contacts with the opportunity being a reference item. I would expect most report engines to work the same.
