I hope somebody can help with this, since I fly out to Africa on business tomorrow and need ACT on my new replacement laptop!
Installed ACT2011 but got an error message about SQL installation.
Tried again from scratch - ended finally with blank ACT installation screen on which close X wouldn't work. (Wasn't highloihted - had to close from Task Manager.)
Went to Uninstall - but ACT is nowhere to be seen in the list of programs. However, there are ACT subdirectories.
Is there some way of "cleaning out" the failed install before having another go?
I did just see some mention of SQL problem for 2011/Windows 7 elsewhere so hopefully can find a fix for that - but need more basic cleanout first.
I hope someone can help!

Go the ACT! knowledge base and search for Uninstaller. That should bring up a document for running the uninstaller and includes the downloads. This should only be used in extream cases like what you have.
